Ford’s iconic autos, industrial and EVs drove a first-quarter gross sales enhance of 10.7 % making the Blue Oval America’s best-selling model.

Sales surged throughout Ford’s areas of energy, together with vans (up 19.6 %); three-row SUVs (up 47.6 %); Bronco model (up 18.3 %); Ford Pro Transit van (up 86.0 %); Mustang (up 5.2 %) and electrical autos (up 41.0 %).

Ford’s general automobile gross sales – Ford Blue, Ford Pro, Model e and Lincoln – totaled 475,906, up 10.1 % with estimated share up over a 12 months in the past.

Ford’s EV gross sales grew 41.0 % in the primary quarter on gross sales of 10,866 electrical autos.   F-150 Lightning gross sales totaled 4,291 pickups with manufacturing capability actions on observe to hit an annual manufacturing run charge of 150,000 this 12 months.  Sales by Ford Pro of the E-Transit, America’s best-selling electrical van final 12 months, climbed 62.7 %.  Reflecting downtime on the plant for modifications to extend manufacturing, Mustang Mach-E gross sales had been down.

And this year’s highly anticipated new product launches with Super Duty, Escape, Mustang and Ranger, will only add to this momentum,” mentioned Andrew Frick, vice chairman, gross sales distribution, and vans.

Ford Explorer was the best-selling, three-row midsize SUV in America, and the red-hot Bronco model noticed gross sales progress of 18.3 %, together with a 37.6 % rise for Bronco. Additionally, Expedition gross sales surged.
